English Conversational Groups for Recently Arrived Refugees
What: We have several groups of recently arrived refugees that are interested in practicing their English, with a few of them needing to learn basic words and phrases to get by while they advance in formal ESL classes.
Who: We are looking for kind people interested in giving back to their community. You need to speak English and have availability week days during the day.
When: The groups will be running for the rest of the summer in different days of the week, some mid morning and others mid afternoon.
Where: We have groups in different places in the N.E and S.W quadrants of the city, all accessible by Public Transit
*Teaching experience, while an asset, is not required, as you will be supervised by our team.
